ORDERS, DELIVERIES & PAYMENTS

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We try to process our orders as soon as possible. The standard shipping time within Finland is 3-5 business days and within EU 5-7 business days. If you have placed a pre-order, the shipping time is longer and stated in the order confirmation e-mail. We process all pre-orders once we have received the indoor shoes at our warehouse from the factory.

Can I return or exchange the indoor shoes?

We don’t offer a direct exchange service, but you are always welcome to return the indoor shoes within 14 days of receiving them. For exchanges, simply re-purchase the preferred indoor shoes after your return. Kindly note, that the returned item must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and unused in all ways and returned in its original packaging. 

Once we have received your return and checked it, your payment will be refunded to the original payment method and the return should show within ten working days.

Please be aware that leaving an order uncollected at a postal office or pick up-point does not count as a return. In this case, we will charge fully for the postal delivery costs and a fee of 15 EUR as a handing cost for the return.

How do I process a return?

If you wish to return the indoor shoes, kindly send us an e-mail to info@edlyhelsinki.com and we will provide you with instructions for the return.

Where do you ship?

We offer shipping worldwide. Standard shipping is offered for all countries within EU. For shipments outside of EU, we kindly ask you to send us an e-mail to info@edlyhelsinki.com and we will provide you with the shipping rate including possible import duties and taxes.

What does pre-ordering mean?

By pre-ordering the indoor shoes, you get access to the indoor shoes before they have arrived at our warehouse from the factory. This way you secure getting exactly the size and colour you want. Once you have pre-ordered the indoor shoes, we will deliver them to you as soon as possible, but keep in mind that this may take up to 4 to 6 weeks. The estimated delivery time is stated in the order confirmation e-mail you receive after purchase. The pre-orders have the same return rights as our regular orders.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Paytrail as a secure payment service provider for our online store and we accept the most common credit- and debit cards, invoicing as well as mobile payments. 

What delivery methods do you accept?

We use Shipit for our delivery options. Within Finland and the Nordics you can choose between Posti, Matkahuolto and Postnord and for shipments within EU we offer UPS as the delivery method.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Can I wear the indoor shoes outdoors?

Our indoor shoes are meant to be worn indoors.

In our Engla indoor shoes the sole is made of delicate bovine leather and will absorb moist easily. Also, the delicate satintype -material will easily stain if it's in contact with water. Thus, at your own account and risk, you may carefully use the Engla indoor shoes outside in dry and nice weather. 

In our Leena indoor shoes the sole is made of bovine leather with a waxed and brushed finishing. The surface material is either suede or textile. The sole and the surface material in the Leena model is not as sensitive as in the Engla indoor shoes. Therefore, with mindful and careful usage, you may use these indoor shoes outside as well. 

How can I clean the indoor shoes?

You should not wash, bleach or iron the indoor shoes. Also, we suggest to avoid sharp objects so the surface of the indoor shoes is not harmed or ripped. We recommend to store the indoor shoes in the shoe bag and handle them with care. Also, once not using the indoor shoes, we advise you to use the tissue paper in the front-part of the shoes, so they will withhold the form of the shoes. 

Thus, if you get dust on the indoor shoes, you can carefully and gently use a sticker roller meant for clothes on the shoes to remove any dust or fine hairs. 

SIZING

What type of last do the indoor shoes have?

Our indoor shoes are sized according to standard European sizing, but with the Nordic women in mind. Kindly see our size chart for more detailed measurements.

Do the indoor shoes stretch/widen in use?

Yes, a little bit. The inline material for our indoor shoes is made of ecological, chrome- and metal free goat leather, which means that the indoor shoes will in fact widen a bit in use as leather shoes have a tendency of doing. 

I normally go by half-sizes and the indoor shoes feel a bit big, what can I do?

As we do not offer half-sizes and if the indoor shoes feel a tiny bit too big, we advise you to include a half-sole in the front-part of the indoor shoe, underneath our woollen insole. This trick will make indoor shoes half a size smaller. Half-soles can be bought at the cobbler, department stores and well equipped grocery stores.
